Project 1 Experiencing Construction:
Experiencing, documentation and analysing construction process
My groupmates and I have visited to two construction sites to witness the construction works. We have take care of our own safety at the construction sites. We wore safety helmet and proper attire when we went to the construction site. The person in charge of the construction site gave us guides and briefs during our visit. We have seen how the workers work at the construction site and the vehicles and equipments at the site.
I have learned various construction elements in this project. My understanding of principles of construction, sequence of construction activities, importance of basic detailing, construction joints and material application has been enhanced through this real life project. This project also creates an opportunity to study the relationship between site and construction method. We have came out with a complete documentation by separating different parts among the groupmates. I am in charge of doing documentation of health and safety and vehicles.

I have learned about how to do documentation by identifying the photographs and informations collected from the site. I also learned how to compile and study the collected data. I have gained a lot experiences in this project especially during the site visits.
