Project 2 Understanding Forces in Solid Structure & Surface Structure
Our group has proposed a few surface construction buildings and we are assigned to proceed our work with the building L'Hemisferic. We have made a model showing the construction details of the surface construction and a booklet to analyse the process of model making.

Then, we are assigned to draw detail drawing of one part of the building individually. I have drawn the detail drawings of the reinforced concrete wall.
Through this project, I have learned how to identifu the basic structural systems in construction. I have learned to compare solid and surface construction and differentiate them in terms of loads and forces acting on structural elements. I am able to recognize and apply the implications of construction system in design after doing this project. I have learned how to analyse the issues of strength, stiffness and stability of structures including modes of structural systems, forces, stress and strain and laws of static
