Project 1 Human Perception of Comfort Level
My groupmates and I have visited to one of our groupmate's house. The living room at the second floor of the house is chosen as the room for our group to study. We made analysis report and a board in this project after we did our studies.
The analysis board is shown below:
We have learned how to analyse a room with its indoor temperature and outdoor temperature and also the indoor relative humidity and outdoor relative humidity. We also learned how to analyse wind rose diagram and how to get weather data from the website. We learned how to plot chart and how to read the graphs. We have learned how to identify environmental conditions related to the building site as well. We are able to explain how sun effects on the thermal performance of the building. We also able to explain the effect of insulation, thermal mass and air movement on thermal performance of building and infer how different building material (K-value, u-value, r-value) has different effect on heat gain orthermal environment in a given space after doing this project.
