In this project, a performing arts center at Jalan Ampang is to be designed. The project has gone through three stages.

Project 1b: Design Strategy Proposal

Task:

For the chosen site and programme, a formal architectural design strategy is produced in response my proposed project.

1. The design has explored and expressed my position in architecture, and synthesize issues relating to programme, user, site and other regulatory requirements.

2. Expanded aspects of design development in tandem with the design of spaces, e.g. regulatory requirements, fire safety, materials, construction, sustainability, feasibility and other relevant considerations, wherever possible, integrating their development to produce a richer, more multi-layered design is considered and included.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Project 1c: Detailed Design

1. Based on the proposed sketch design, consider and include expanded aspects of design development in tandem with the design of spaces, e.g. regulatory requirements, fire safety, materials, construction, sustainability, feasibility and other relevant considerations, wherever possible, integrating their development to produce a richer, more multilayered design.

2. A selected portion of the design is developed for technological development and resolution

3. Environmental strategies is intergrated into the design.
